Intelligentsia Cup Chicago and The West Dundee River Challenge | West Dundee, IL

 

Intelligentsia Cup is an exciting criterium bike race series that takes place annually in Chicagoland, typically the middle to end of July! They are the largest road bike racing series in America and work hard every year to create an unforgettable event that keeps riders coming back, year after year.

A criterium (or crit) is a road cycling race that is typically held in a parking lot or on a short course through neighborhoods. This makes for incredibly fast races and ensures a lot of action as racers must corner quickly (to maintain speed) and jockey for position.

In 2021 and 2022 Patrick BMW MINI was the proud "Pace Car" sponsor of the West Dundee River Challenge held in West Dundee, IL who hosted the first day of the series the past two years.
