Supporting the THANC Foundation Through Community Action
Patrick Dealer Group is proud to partner with the THANC Foundation (Thyroid, Head & Neck Cancer Foundation) in support of cancer research, patient education, and community awareness.
Beginning the week of June 15, 2026 through October 31, 2026, Patrick Dealer Group employees, customers, and community members will come together to raise funds and awareness for the THANC Foundation through dealership fundraising initiatives, community events, and charitable campaigns throughout the Chicago and Schaumburg areas.
Our fundraising efforts will continue through October 2026 and include dealership donation drives, community awareness programs, employee fundraising activities, and our annual Employee Softball Tournament.
Every donation helps support research, education, and resources for patients and families affected by thyroid and head & neck cancer.
2026 THANC Foundation Fundraising Campaign
Patrick Dealer Group's 2026 THANC Foundation fundraising campaign begins June 15, 2026 and runs through October 31, 2026.
Throughout the campaign, customers, employees, and community members will have opportunities to support the THANC Foundation through:
- In-store donation drives
- QR code donation opportunities at Patrick Dealer Group locations
- Community fundraising events
- Employee fundraising initiatives
- The Annual Patrick Dealer Group Employee Softball Tournament
- Additional awareness campaigns throughout the summer and fall
Every dollar raised helps support research, education, patient resources, and awareness programs for individuals and families affected by thyroid and head & neck cancer.
Over 54,000 American women, men and children face that
frightening reality each year when they are diagnosed with head and neck
cancer.
The Thyroid, Head & Neck Cancer Foundation's (THANC) mission is to support the research and education in the early detection and treatment of thyroid, head and neck cancer, to advancing new therapies, and to alleviating the suffering and functional impairment of patients who undergo treatment. The THANC Foundation was incorporated in 2003 and quickly became the largest private funder of research in the United States for these types of cancers.
In 2009, THANC became the first U.S. member of the global Head and Neck Research Network (HNRN) and refocused research funding internally on collaborative initiatives as a member of this organization.
In addition to research, THANC funded continuing professional medical education through sponsorship of the Multidisciplinary Management of Head and Neck Cancer and Thyroid and Parathyroid Disease until 2011, when the 20th Annual Course was held. The Foundation supports the Head & Neck Oncologic and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery, and Thyroid/Parathyroid Surgery Fellowship, a program accredited by the American Head and Neck Society.
THANC's resources also focus on community awareness and education as well as patient outreach and support initiatives. Under the medical direction of Dr. Mark Urken, THANC is housed within the Institute for Head and Neck and Thyroid Cancer at the Phillips Ambulatory Care Center at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Medical Center.
