Each manufacturer may occasionally offer existing lease customers special incentives to terminate their lease contract early by waiving the remaining payments. These special programs are a perfect opportunity for you to get into a brand new BMW, MINI, Cadillac, Volvo, Jaguar, Land Rover, Hyundai or Genesis. If you wish, visit a Patrick Cars dealership for a pre-inspection, 90-120 days before the end of your lease. The dealership will review your vehicle's condition and provide an estimate of any charges. Please contact Patrick Cars to schedule an appointment.
The final inspection of your vehicle will take place roughly 60 days before the expiration date of your lease. An independent inspection company will contact you to arrange an appointment at your convenience, where they will evaluate the condition of your vehicle and ensure that you receive a fair and impartial assessment.
The independent inspector who conducts the mandatory End-of-Lease inspection can determine whether or not your vehicle has any excess wear and tear. Any damage to your vehicle that is deemed to be excess wear and tear is chargeable. - If Necessary, Repair Your Current Vehicle
If necessary, repair your current vehicle. If there is any excess wear and tear present, you will receive an estimated cost for repair shortly after your vehicle inspection. To ensure that the repairs are acceptable, we recommend for your convenience, having them completed at a Patrick Cars dealership near you. You will be required to forward your repair receipts to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to ensure that your maturity billing is updated accordingly. Or, if more convenient, you can choose to return your vehicle as-is and pay any outstanding charges at that time. Our Sales Associates can assist with either option you choose.
 For you, the best way to celebrate the end of your lease might just be to keep the very vehicle you've come to love and trust. If so, you have three options to consider:
- You may purchase your vehicle outright for the purchase price or
- You can finance the amount remaining with the manufacturer's financial institution.Â
Both options above absolve you from any and all excess wear and use, as well as excess mileage charges. This allows you the freedom to customize your vehicle precisely to your liking.

Please contact a Patrick Direct Sales Associate at a Patrick Cars dealership near you and schedule an appointment to return your vehicle on (or before) your lease maturity date. Our dealership will review the condition of your vehicle and confirm that the necessary repairs have been made. Both you and our dealership will sign a Vehicle Return Confirmation form to validate that the return process has been completed.
