Reports to:         Service Manager

The Patrick Dealer Group is looking to grow our Service Advisor team to assist our guests! We are a very busy dealership and need people who enjoy a fast paced environment. you will be working alongside our Technicians and Service Manager and Sales.  If you are the person that our customers will think of first, goal oriented and wish to play an important role in building relationships with our customers than we encourage you to apply.  

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Service Advisors are responsible for conducting business within our Service Department with sincerity, honesty, and genuine concern for our customers.
  • Greet every customer that enters our facility with hospitality and the highest level of respect.
  • Responsible for scheduling service work in the service department
  • Responsible for reaching out to warranty companies as needed.
  • Present the best solution to properly repair our customer's vehicle
  • Possess the ability to consistently and effectively sell our services without jeopardizing honesty and integrity. 
  • Direct, coordinate, and participate in performing customer service as dictated by work load.
  • Insure that all work is performed to proper specifications.
  • Assist other employees as needed.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting automotive billing statements and work orders.
  • Skilled in understanding and interpreting vehicle terminology.
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills.
  • Exhibits ability to remain calm and polite when dealing with frustrated customers.
  • Possesses computer skills and is familiar with word processing programs.
  • Manages time efficiently.
  • Demonstrates excellent telephone etiquette.
  • Must be CSI driven and a team Player

Education and/or Experience:

  • Must be at least 18 years or older and have a stable work history.
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor.
  • Preferably, we would like to see a candidate that has spent some time in the service industry, retail industry or experience in some kind of sales or customer care
  • Able to stand up to 8 hours a day and work in a fast paced environment.
  • Import experience a plus but not required
  • ADP DMS preferred
  • Ability to work a flexible full time schedule, including Saturdays
  • Current driver's licenses with Good driving record.
  • All candidates must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
