Patrick Dealer Group, located in Schaumburg, IL is currently hiring an Automotive Billing Clerk. 

We are a very busy dealership and need people who enjoy a fast paced environment.

We are seeking a bright energetic individual looking to join an organization that not only recognizes their efforts and contributions but also provides opportunities for growth. This individual will be responsible for the daily billing of all new, used and wholesale vehicle sales and preparation of contract documentation for our finance institutions.  

Reports to:  Office Manager

Job Description:
  • Performs accounting functions for the company by processing paperwork and finance contracts for New & Used retail and lease deals.
  • Assists with dealer trades, wholesales, and license/title on an as-needed basis
  • Verifies, allocates, and posts transactions into proper journals and ensures transaction back-up documents are properly maintained.
  • The Billing Clerk has strong skills in problem solving, documentation, research, and data analysis. In addition, the Biller maintains an adequate system of accounting records and develops periodic financial reports that comply with generally accepted accounting principles.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Detail-oriented and good with numbers
  • Proficient with CDK/ADP accounting software and with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Good time management skills
  • Professional dress, speech, and behavior
  • Maintains an orderly accounting system
  • Completes any reports or logs
  • Ensures that all customer contact information is up-to-date and accurate
  • Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards
  • Provides administrative assistance as needed
  • Ability to understand urgency and work under strict deadlines
Requirements:
  • Previous Automotive Accounting experience required
  • Billing experience in new, used and wholesale vehicles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to understand urgency and work under strict deadlines
